To feel the tug of a big fish on the end of a line is no everyday occurance for some people. And so when it's difficult to hook a fish worth boasting about at times, we help out with other fishing methods! A short line which locals call a "sneak" can be used, and set out a few hours before the start of the fishing trip. After using fishing lines and trying jigging for a while at different spots, whether we get lucky or not, we pull the line in before we set a course back to Håholmen. It may well happen that we have caught some fish that are otherwise not caught with a traditional fishing rod line. It's best to look at all the different kinds of fish when we are back preparing the catch. We freeze the catch for anyone who wants to take their fish home with them
